Meet the designer

I have been working in industrial and furniture design for over 20 years and my driving force has always been to bring new and exciting designs; to create something sophisticated and unique. This means I am continually challenging traditional thinking when it comes to design, manufacturing and materials.

It was when my son NICO was born that I really understood what was needed to create a perfect and functional space for children and my passion was ignited. I decided to begin the MYCOT journey and set out to create a baby cot as a beautiful design object unlike anything else in the market. My aim: to end the frustration of so many contemporary parents who are looking for, but are unable to find, sophisticated design.

The journey so far has been very challenging. An innovation like the Nico Collection involves new materials and technologies used for the very first time in the industry. There has been a lot of hands-on research and refinement to create the amazing end result that I am so thrilled to present to you; the Nico Collection.

As I watch happy babies and children using our cot I know that this hard work has been worthwhile. There is no more satisfaction for a designer than to put a smile on a face. The dream really has begun.
